My 3560 is so nice. It gives me the option of debugging EIGRP based on the AS number OR the Autonomous System number. 🙂
SW2#debug ip eigrp ?
<1-65535> AS number
<1-65535> Autonomous System
neighbor IP-EIGRP neighbor debugging
notifications IP-EIGRP event notifications
summary IP-EIGRP summary route processing
vrf Select a VPN Routing/Forwarding instance
<cr>
SW2#sh ver | i IOS|image
Cisco IOS Software, C3560 Software (C3560-IPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.2(25)SEE2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
System image file is “flash:c3560-ipservicesk9-mz.122-25.SEE2/c3560-ipservicesk9-mz.122-25.SEE2.bin”
Well mine is not as nice, but seems to be more generous in term of debug options:
SW2#debug ip eigrp ?
Autonomous System
A.B.C.D IP address
multicast Address Family modifier
neighbor EIGRP-IPv4 neighbor debugging
notifications EIGRP-IPv4 event notifications
summary EIGRP-IPv4 summary route processing
topology Select a Topology instance
unicast Address Family modifier
user-interface EIGRP-IPv4 User Interface debug
vrf Select a VPN Routing/Forwarding instance
Although I do have a slightly different version than yours:
SW2#sh ver | i IOS|image
Cisco IOS Software, C3560 Software (C3560-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.2(44)SE2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)
System image file is “flash:c3560-advipservicesk9-mz.122-44.SE2.bin”
Anyway, enough rambling from me. Wishing you and yours a healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year! May (not the month) 2009 is the year of the magic digits (CCIE and/or winning lottery jackpot numbers) for us!
