Today I was troubleshooting a router and found out that there was an ISDN debug (use “show debug”) that was filling up the log. I decided to stop the debugging by typing “undebug all”. At least that’s what I typed in my head. 🙂 Actually, I typed:
productionrouter#debug all
Luckily, Cisco IOS is smart enough to give you a chance to verify your stupidity before you end your career:
This may severely impact network performance. Continue? (yes/[no]): no
After crapping my pants, I went ahead and turned off all debugging:
productionrouter#u all
All possible debugging has been turned off
